  1.  How did Schama approach Rembrandt differently them Caravaggio?  (aside from the facts) ? -  Rembrandt: Schama focuses on how the Dutch Republic's wealthy, reflective values are reflected in Rembrandt's artwork. According to Schama, Rembrandt's paintings—particularly his biblical portrayals and portraits—are about people's mental and emotional states as well as the difficulties associated with moral conflict and self-identity. 1. Who is David Hockney?  Some people don’t believe his stories. Do you? Why?    - David Hockney is one of the most influential artists alive today well-known and y. Born in Bradford, England, on July 9, 1937. Hockney was a highly talented artist skilled in various mediums, including painting, photography, printmaking, sketching, and more. He has set up various renowned studios in numerous locations.   Regarding his stories, I do believe them because he thoroughly looked into them and supported them with adequate evidence. 2.   What was the Secret Knowledge?  Does it change the way you look at painting?        What is Paint? What are the parts that make it up? What are its purposes? Paint is a material used for surface protection, art creation, and color addition. Pigment, binder, solvent, and additives make up this mixture. The binder helps the paint stick to surfaces by holding the pigment particles together while the pigment gives the color and opacity. The solvent makes the paint simpler to apply by adjusting its thickness, and it evaporates as the paint dries. Properties and mold protection are improved by additives. There are numerous varieties of paints.   The world's most renowned artist is Leonardo da Vinci.  Leonardo DaVinci was a Renaissance man who was known his contributions to art, science, and engineering. He was born in 1452 in Vinci, Italy and is best known for his painting the "Mona Lisa" and "The Last Supper". He was more than what his art was, he was a scientist, mathematician and inventor during his time. Leonardo has notebooks he filled with sketches and ideas that were extremely advanced for the time he was living in. He was filled with curiosity and knowledge that helped him with his art and time in the Renaissance. "He wanted to understand a world around him in order to recreate it" as it said in the video presented to us. Within this context, the Renaissance represented an awakening of the arts, sciences, literature, architecture, and civilization. Several things contributed to the birth of the Renaissance, including the 1351 black plague, the wars that destroyed Roman art and ideas, and their future rediscovery.
