LECTURE 1 -RENAISSANCE

        

         During the fourteenth and seventeenth centuries, Europe experienced the Renaissance. Renaissance is defined as the resurfacing or rebirth of interest in something. Within this context, the Renaissance represented an awakening of the arts, sciences, literature, architecture, and civilization. Several things contributed to the birth of the Renaissance, including the 1351 black plague, the wars that destroyed Roman art and ideas, and their future rediscovery. The Belief in Humanity movement, which welcomed art, literature, science, and education and pushed individuals as the center and focus of their lives, played a significant role in the Renaissance.

The Renaissance changed the arts by forcing painters to concentrate more on realistic pieces. Art forms and methods evolved. The evolution of linear perspective, for instance. Discussing two major contributions to the evolution of art and science, the Renaissance's invention of linear perspective changed both painting and architecture by enabling artists to produce realistic depth. Similar to this, the Scientific Revolution's scientific method brought an organized approach to experimentation, which resulted in important discoveries in biology, physics, and medicine. These contributions have a significant impact on human comprehension, influencing how we view reality, space, and scientific advancement.

    Hi! the renaissance really was a insanely remarkable period that not only transformed art but fueled advancements in science and literature too. The creation of the linear perspective which you mentioned was the most significant development since we still use it today which helps us to accurately create more realistic artworks. Also great job mentioning the plague many fail to include that as a part in the renaissance period.
